Our Staff and Practice History

Washington Square Dermatology opened its doors on August 1, 2011 with just three staff members: Dr. Dorothy J. Cunningham, owner and physician, Carol Ferrera, practice manager, and Elisabeth (Bizzie) Dow, medical assistant. Over the years, the practice has grown and we have expanded our mission to include a strong teaching component.

She often will say “never should a patient feel like an inconvenience.” Whitney was born in Bethesda, M.D., raised in Madison, C.T., and now a passionate Bostonian since 2010.
